UVBI

What Is UVBI?

“The Cure that time forgot”Micheal R Hamblin. Adv Exp Med Biol.2017.

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UVBI) is a therapeutic technique that involves exposing a small amount of blood to ultraviolet (UV) light before returning it to the body. The science behind Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UVBI) therapy is based on the effects of UV light on blood components. When blood is exposed to UV light, it triggers biological responses that activate and regulate the immune system, enhance oxygen delivery to tissues, and provide anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial benefits. Specifically, UVC light has powerful germicidal properties that help neutralise pathogens in the blood, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation is an immune-modulating treatment that:

  • Boosts the immune system
  • Inactivates viruses, fungi, and bacteria, even those resistant to antibiotics
  • Helps reduce the overall microbial load

A small amount of blood is drawn and mixed with sterile saline, then exposed to UV-C light. At Nulife, we use a high-intensity UVC lamp and a specially crafted quartz glass cuvette that creates gentle stirring, ensuring the blood is evenly exposed to the light without overheating.

After this process, the treated blood is carefully reinfused back into the patient.

Benefits of UVBI

Boosts immune system function

Combats pathogenic microbes

Reduces inflammation

Improves blood circulation and oxygenation

Detoxification support

Increases energy and well-being

Who is it relevant for?

Individuals with chronic viral, bacterial, or fungal infections

People experiencing autoimmune disorders

Those suffering from persistent inflammation

Patients with chronic fatigue or low energy levels

Individuals facing infections resistant to antibiotics

Anyone seeking to boost and regulate their immune system naturally

Administration Method

NAD+ therapy is most commonly administered intravenously (via IV infusion) to ensure direct delivery into the bloodstream for maximum absorption and bioavailability

Session Duration

A typical NAD+ IV therapy session can vary in length, often ranging from 1 to 4 hours, depending on the specific protocol, the dosage, and the individual's needs

Patient Experience

During the infusion, patients are usually seated comfortably. Some may experience mild sensations like warmth or nausea, which are often managed by adjusting the infusion rate. The process is generally relaxed, allowing patients to read, work, or rest
